DA' HELL HAPPENED #2: WWE Monday Night RAW, February 15, 2016
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWR! 5 years ago, this little show was created. Hope the success we had is duplicated in the next 5 years as well! Thank you to all who follow us, and we hope to give you the best about pro wrestling as we can.
The show opened with Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose talking to Brock Lesnar, begging the Beast to give him na F5. Much like we saw during the last few weeks, Ambrose can't wait for Lesnar to take him to "Suplex City", trying to mix with his mind. This time, Stephanie McMahon interrupted Ambrose, giving the champion some bad news: he would have to defend his Intercontinental Title next, in a Fatal Five Way.
Comes out Kevin Owens, Stardust, Tyler Breeze and Dolph Ziggler. A very good match, with solid spots. It does not show that WWE is somehow trying to punish Tyler Breeze for the past few backstage situations that have happened, because he was mentioned a lot of times by Michael Cole, and had great spots himself. After some exchange of finishers, Kevin Owens applied the Pop-Up Powerbomb on Tyler Breeze to win his second Intercontinental Title, leaving Ambrose with no gold heading into FastLane.
It was later determined Dolph Ziggler is stepping up against Kevin Owens as the #1 contender for Owens' recent won championship at FastLane.
WWE Tag Team Champions New Day come out and target Mark Henry for having turned on them last week in a match against The Usos and The Dudley Boyz. Big E. is facing Mark Henry, having won with a botched Big Ending.
AJ Styles Vs. The Miz II is next. With "Y2J" Chris Jericho on commentary, AJ Styles and Miz wrestled a good contest. With the "Calf Crusher", AJ Styles picked up the victory. After the match, Jericho confronted AJ Styles, but before he could say anything, Styles spoke about his desire for facing Jericho once more, but this time in a PPV, and at FastLane! Jericho said Styles would have to wait until SmackDown to figure out what was The Man Of A 1000 Holds' answer.
After putting The Usos through a table last week (one for each other), The Dudley Boyz came out to make a brief explanation of what will happen going forward with the tables. Tables are gone, and you can chant whatever you want, but the Dudleyz won't give them broken or presente them to you (great showing of heel tactics, as the Dudleyz show why they were so hated as characters before. You delete from your character what the fans love).
Surprisingly, Summer Rae picked one rare victory on RAW, and guess what? Against non other than Paige. As if Paige was that relevant right now in WWE, they kill her even more.
The God of Promos Paul Heyman comes out to the center of the ring and calls out Roman Reigns. Then he warns the Powerhouse that he will have to choose either his best friend or his daughter come FastLane, because his friendship won't win a WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, nor a spot in the main event for the title on April 3rd. Roman thanked Heyman for the advice, and said he would take it as very important. After this exchange of words, The Dudley Boyz attack Roman Reigns from behind, only for him to be saved by Ambrose. After dispaching The Dudleyz, Ambrose attemps to apply Dirty Deeds on his best friend, unsuccessfully.
A distraction by Bo Dallas allowed Heath Slater to pick up a win over Zack Ryder.
A double stomp by Alberto Del Rio allowed him and his League Of Nations partners to pick up a win over Kalisto, Sin Cara and Neville.
Before teaming with Sasha Banks at FastLane, Becky Lynch found herself in a 2-on-1 situation, even though Naomi was her only opponent, with Tamina at ringside. Becky tapped Naomi out with the Disarmer, and after the match Sasha Banks had to come out in the aid of Lynch.
In the end, The Wyatt Family cut a promo on Ryback, Kane and Big Show. The three men stood tall at the end of the show, with the Wyatt Family put on notice.
