DA' HELL HAPPENED #38: WWE Monday Night RAW & WWE SmackDown Live, March 27/28, 2017

How's it going everyone? Welcome to the last edition of "Da' Hell Happened" before WrestleMania 33! I hope you are enjoying the craziest week of wrestling of the year that started with RAW on Monday, followed by SmackDown Live on Tuesday, NXT on Wednesday, "Bring It To The Table" live on the WWE Network on Thursday, the Hall Of Fame Induction ceremony on Friday, "NXT Takeover: Orlando" on Saturday, and finally WrestleMania on Sunday. And today I will be bringing to you the review of the last episodes of Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live before "The Show of Shows". Here we go!

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - March 27, 2017

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens - No Disqualification match

Zayn and Owens were given the honor of making the final wrestling match on the card, and surprise surprise. They stole the freakin' show. The match was contested under no disqualification rules, and if Zayn lost, he not only would lose his spot in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but also would lose his job on RAW. When it appeared Samoa Joe was going to save Kevin Owens once again and act again under the orders of Triple H, Chris Jericho even the odds and allowed Zayn to get the small package and the much needed 3 count. A great match for the go-home episode of RAW before WrestleMania. It's what happens when you are best friends... uh, best enemies.

Sami Zayn fought for his career against his former best friend, Kevin Owens, in a No DQ Match.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Seth Rollins and Goldberg

After stating he wasn't feeling good but could still go at WrestleMania, Seth Rollins signed a "Hold Harmless Agreement" to face Triple H Sunday. Basically a one legged man, "The Architect" was still able to put "The Game" down using his knee crutch and making a statement for WrestleMania, even though he couldn't stand on his two feet and showing he's not 100% to return to action, much less to face someone like Triple H.
After surprisingly being easily handled by Brock Lesnar a couple of weeks ago, Universal Champion Goldberg returned and made a statement he's going to WrestleMania to defend his title, fight Lesnar and make quick work of the "Beast" by spearing Lesnar.

Goldberg put an exclamation point on the final RAW before defending his Universal Championship against Goldberg Sunday at WrestleMania.
Seth Rollins signed a "Hold Harmless Agreement" and will fight Triple H in a non-sanctioned match at WrestleMania.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: The whole opening segment

I love when woman take center stage on RAW to the point where they make the opening segment of the show, but for god sakes, do something right to that. It was painful to watch. Bayley looked like an ignorant child who trusts everyone, Banks tried to give the feeling that at WrestleMania she will turn her back on Bayley and try to win her title, but came up with a phrase really weird. Jax looked strong but she would finish some phrases in weird ways. Charlotte Flair was the only one that showed how to talk the talk, and walk the walk. Honestly, she's the favourite to win the title match Sunday, but Bayley and Banks are not done, for sure, and that's why she's not my pick.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE - MARCH 28, 2017

MATCH OF THE NIGHT (Honorable Mentions): WWE Champion Bray Wyatt vs. Luke Harper

Luke Harper is free. Bray Wyatt is stronger than ever. I don't name this match the one of the night because it was too small to be considered a main event quality match, but these two showed that a match at a PPV is something to be considered within the Creative team, and could very well be the rivalry to go with following WrestleMania.

WWE Champion Bray Wyatt faced Luke Harper in the main event of SmackDown Live.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: 10-man Tag Team match - Mojo Rawley, Heath Slater, Rhyno & American Alpha vs. Dolph Ziggler, Breezango & The Usos

Exciting match to say the least. These are some of the best tag teams in WWE, and it's a shame that it is the worst division on SmackDown Live, and probably the worse in WWE, even considering the Cruiserweight division. Breezango is fun to watch, American Alpha are probably the best tag team in WWE in terms of wrestling quality and The Usos are doing probably their best run in WWE as heels, already in their 3rd tag team championship reign. Unfortunately, they will be "relegated" to a battle royal on the Kickoff show that envolves two men from RAW that WWE will not let go early: Big Show and Braun Strowman. Let's pray they are not made jokes of.

10-man Tag Team action was exciting and fun to watch.

MVP OF THE NIGHT (Honorable Mentions): Naomi

Naomi returned and declared she will be participating in the SmackDown Women's Championship match at WrestleMania. She got the pop of the night, for sure, and she's also the new favourite to win that match, considering how good she was received by fans, and also considering Mania is in her hometown. That match will be fun to watch.

Naomi returned and declared she will be at WrestleMania to fight for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: The Miz and John Cena

The Miz, Maryse, John Cena and Nikki Bella are producing the best talking segments in the whole WWE right now. They are owning each other, making fun of each other, and killing each other with insults. The whole "Total Bellas Bullsh$#" was probably the best work The Miz and Maryse have done to date, and John Cena is also producing some of his best promos ever (it's quite interesting to hear that, considering he's been around for so long and already made so many awesome promos).

The Miz and John Cena fought in a battle of words on SmackDown Live.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: The scary thought of having Tyler Breeze in the SD Women's Championship match

Fans got a heart attack when Tyler Breeze tried to insert himself in the SmackDown Women's Championship match at WrestleMania by being "Breezy Bella". We know how it played out for Santino Marella, and thank god WWE showed we are in 2017 and these things are ridiculous. Good thing they were only joking around, because I was about to spit my heart out.

"Breezy Bella" declared "herself" available for the SmackDown Women's Championship match at WrestleMania.

And there you go. Monday I will be back for a special edition of DHH with the WHOLE review of WrestleMania, as well as a very special surprise that I will not reveal until Monday. See you there, and enjoy this week as well as WrestleMania!
