DA' HELL HAPPENED #37: WWE Monday Night RAW & WWE SmackDown Live, March 20/21, 2017

Hey hey hey! Welcome to another edition of Da' Hell Happened and this week I bring to you the penultime episodes of WWE's weekly flagships shows, RAW and SmackDown Live, before WrestleMania. This week's shows were highlighted by a special return and a blue brand full of Creative and interesting segments. Let's roll!

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - MARCH 20, 2017

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Much like their match at Fast Lane, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman produced a very intense and physical battle during the main event of this week's RAW. The rematch was cut short after The Undertaker returned and chokeslammed Braun Strowman, only to fall because of a "Spear" from his WrestleMania 33 opponent Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman battled in the main event of RAW.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Roman Reigns

"The Big Dog" has been saying since Fast Lane that this is his yard, and he is the big dog around, the problem is there is a person that has issues regarding those statements, and that is the original "Big Dog", The Undertaker. After being revealed both men will face each other in a match at WrestleMania, The Undertaker wanted to spoil Reigns' attempt to defeat the "Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman, but ended up on the receiving end of a "Spear" courtesy of Roman Reigns, who made a statement and declared he's ready for the "Deadman" at the "Show Of Shows", and is also ready to prove why he is the "Big Dog" and why this is now his yard.

The Undertaker interrupted Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman' match, attacking Strowman and ending up being attacked by Reigns.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Gallows & Anderson take out Amore & Cass?

So let me explain the situation: there was a 4-on-2 Handicap match between Gallows & Anderson and Amore & Big Cass versus Sheamus & Cesaro with the stipulation: if Sheamus and Cesaro lost the match, they would be taken away from the RAW Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania. Logically, Gallows & Anderson and Amore & Cass had something to win: have one more team to deal with in their clash at WrestleMania. So what does the Creative brilliant and genius minds of the WWE Creative Team think? Have the champions (who should be perceived as heels and therefore smart) attack Enzo Amore and Big Cass, exposing themselves and letting Sheamus and Cesaro pick up the victory. Somebody read the meaning of the word "logic" to the Creative minds in the blue brand, please.

Sheamus & Cesaro kept their Tag Team Title shot at WrestleMania intact by defeating Gallows & Anderson and Amore & Cass after the champions attacked Amore & Cass.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE - MARCH 21, 2017

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: SmackDown Tag Team Champions American Alpha vs. The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

After receiving a shot to shine in the main event spot last week on SmackDown Live and failing miserably due to constant interferences from Shane McMahon, American Alpha and The Usos tore the house down and delivered the most spectacular match of the week, not only on SmackDown Live, but also on RAW. Exciting, full of near-falls, and leaving the fans with no choice but to chant "This is awesome" during the match and giving them a good reason to stand up and stay like that for close to 10 minutes. Congratulations to The Usos who saw their change of character finally give them profit by becoming a 3-time Tag Team Champions. American Alpha, your future continues to look bright, just keep performing like you do every single show.

The Usos defeated American Alpha and won their 3rd Tag Team Championship.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Shane McMahon

Whether you're a fan of his match with AJ Styles at WrestleMania or not, and whether you believe he can keep up with, perhaps, the best professional wrestler of all time, or not, at WrestleMania, after SmackDown Live you can believe he will give 150% of what he has inside himself to entertain us and gives us a hell of a match and a hell of a story to follow until WrestleMania. He has executed that elbow to the heart from the top rope onto the commentary table numerous times, but no matter how many times he does it, it will still be something to be talked about and to be praised for.

Shane McMahon put AJ Styles through the commentary table with a elbow to the heart from the top rope.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Total Bellas Bullsh#$

These segments were not bad at all. Watching them was a joy, not only because Maryse looked way hotter than Nikki Bella ever did with her gear, but also because The Miz showed (once again) why he is the best heel in the "blue brand" and probably the best heel the company has to offer at WrestleMania. It's a shame it will all die at WrestleMania because Bella and Cena are almost certainly going to leave Orlando victorious, but until then sit back, relax and enjoy the ride with the A-lister and his hot (not asian) wife.

The Miz and Maryse showed footage never seen before from "Total Bellas".

And with this I finish this week's Da' Hell Happened. Next week I'll be back with more DHH as I break down the final week before WrestleMania, usually full of big appearances, and serving as the final preparation for every match that will take place at WrestleMania. See you there!
