DA' HELL HAPPENED #25: WWE TLC - Tables, Ladders & Chairs

Hello everyone, welcome to another edition of "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the reviw of the SmackDown Live's exclusive PPV, "TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs". Before we start, here are the results from the event that featured many matches with special stipulations, given the name of the PPV.

- (3/5*) Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt def. Heath Slater & Rhyno (C) to win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles
- (2.5/5*) Nikki Bella def. Carmella in a No Disqualification Match
- (4/5*) The Miz (C) def. Dolph Ziggler in a Ladder Match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title
- (3/5*) Baron Corbin def. Kalisto in a Chairs Match
- (3.5/5*) Alexa Bliss def. Becky Lynch (C) in a Tables Match to win the SmackDown Women's Title
- (4.5/5*) AJ Styles (C) def. Dean Ambrose in a TLC Match to retain the WWE World Title

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose - TLC Match for the WWE World Championship

AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose wrestled the main event of this show, and boy oh boy was this the best match on the card. They killed each other using tables, ladders and chairs all over the arena. The ending may not be the best in the minds of a lot of people, but it's the smartest decision because Ellsworth wouldn't be cool anymore. His underdog persona would have killed any momentum he has because the booking wouldn't allow him to be important and a weekly figure.

MVP OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTIONS): The Miz, Alexa Bliss and James Ellsworth

The Miz is in the best moment of his career. He's the best heel in the blue brand, and is one of the best Intercontinental Champions ever, and probably the best in recent memory. Alexa Bliss is now champion, and very deserving of the gold because of her work in the mic, her progress in the ring and her Harley Quinn character. James Ellsworth was the decisive factor in the main event for the WWE World Championship, which means he was an important decision maker in the event.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: WWE World Champion AJ Styles

AJ Styles' performance at TLC was the best of the night. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF HE RIPPED HIS PANTS, he is by far the best wrestler in the company, and deserves the spot he has on the blue brand right now. Whether his momentum is killed by a future feud with The Undertaker is in WWE's hands, but I hope he doesn't go down with a loss with Taker. WWE should let Styles roll like he has been doing against the likes of Dean Ambrose and John Cena, and any change to that will kill everything he has done.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: James Ellsworth shocks the world... again!

He has shocked the world three times by beating World Champion AJ Styles, and he has shocked the world again Sunday by being the decisive factor in the TLC match between Styles and Ambrose. Like I said, his heel turn is the smartest decision WWE could have made with him, and now he has an opportunity to shine on his own (and not with internet memes and people pretending to like him when they only want to joke with him), and actually make something interesting in the blue brand.

Wednesday we'll be back with the review of RAW and SmackDown Live, which will feature more developments on the rivalries heading into Roadblock: End Of The Line, and the fallout of an amazing TLC event. See you there!
