DA' HELL HAPPENED #72: WWE TLC - Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017

Hey everyone and welcome to another edition of the "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the review of last night's WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs PPV. A night full of debuts, returns and dream matches that made the wonders of the WWE Universe. So let's review what happened at RAW's exclusive PPV.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTION): Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz, Kane, Braun Strowman, Sheamus & Cesaro

The return of Kurt Angle was something fans were expecting for a long time. And it finally happened last night in a TLC match, with Angle teaming with Shield members Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. A mark-out moment when the "Olympic Gold Medalist" entered the arena through the crowd Shield style.

I was going to name this the match of the night because of the stipulation if it wasn't a mess like it was and chaotic as you can imagine. All of a sudden Angle leaves, Strowman and Kane start fighting each other, in a blink of an eye it became a mess. Still cool to see Angle back. Definitely it's not his best in terms of physique, but it was a cool moment to see.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: "The Demon" Finn Bálor vs. AJ Styles

Jesus Christ. A dream match for the ages took place last night when AJ Styles and Finn Bálor battled each other for the first time ever. Former Bullet Club members, now elite superstars in the WWE, these two killed it. The fans were chanting "this is awesome" because the match had even begun. It was a joy to watch, and definitely a match I will never forget.

I marked out when they too sweeted each other, but it's just WWE playing dirty. I don't like it. You're just poking fun at an independent team who is making money and having fun with a past gimmick.

MVP OF THE NIGHT (Honorable Mentions): Asuka, Mickie James, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle

Nobody is ready for Asuka. The "Empress of Tomorrow" debuted on the main roster last night, and let everybody know in the Women's division that she's here.

Mickie James showed the world why she's a guaranteed future Hall of Famer by putting on one hell of a performance against the champion last night. I don't know if she'll be champ in the future, but she damn well deserves.

AJ Styles was in Chile on Saturday night wrestling for the SmackDown LIVE brand, and on Sunday was in Minneapolis for TLC, putting on a performance and a match that will stand in history. Styles showing why he is one of the best of all time.

Kurt Angle returned to the ring with no preparation whatsoever (he got the information he was wrestling Thursday or Friday), and made an impact right away. Not his best physique, but surely created a moment the fans will remember forever.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Finn Bálor

In his alter-ego "The Demon", Finn Bálor picked up a huge victory over SmackDown LIVE's AJ Styles. Everything is pointing towards Bálor facing Lesnar before WrestleMania, and Bálor looks as strong as ever after last night's PPV event. No one won it more than Bálor at TLC.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: "It's the only night of the year WWE goes extreme with tables, ladders and chairs.... with one match in 8 having a stipulation"

It was weird hearing Michael Cole saying it was the night WWE goes extreme with tables, ladders and chairs, yet only one match in 8 in the card had an actual stipulation using either tables, ladders or chairs. What?

Tomorrow I will be back for another edition of DHH featuring the review of RAW. See you then!
