DA' HELL HAPPENED #23: WWE Monday Night RAW & WWE SmackDown Live, November 21/22 2016

Hey everyone! Welcome to another weekly edition of the section of reviews from this week's RAW and SmackDown Live, of course Da' Hell Happened. This week's WWE flagship shows included the fallout from WWE Survivor Series, with the aftermath of the shocking victory from Goldberg over Brock Lesnar in Toronto, and also the respective Traditional Survivor Series elimination matches, with SmackDown Live winning the men's, and RAW winning the women's and the tag team's. So here we go!

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - NOVEMBER 21, 2016

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship

Fans getting treated to this kind of main event on cable TV? Indeed, it's best for business for us. Great main event, as one could only expect from these two performers. For the third time, Chris Jericho played a major role on Kevin Owens retaining the Universal Championship, but guess what? That's what best friends do!

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho

They are best friends, and they made everyone look like a fool. If you think they are turning their backs against each other, you can take that idea out of your mind... and wait 2/3 weeks.
Now seriously, they are the best thing on RAW. I only miss the part they were dominant, because week in and week out we see Owens and Jericho lying on the ground by the end of the show, or retrieving from either Reigns or Rollins. About that, who is next in line for a WWE Universal title shot: Rollins or Reigns? It's an interesting question that should be answered by next week.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: "Bah gawd, that woman has a husband!"

My god. WWE loves to tease us, male fans, with the idea of a relationship between the word "sex" and Lana. It was funny, and we saw that naughty smile Lana made when Enzo asked her "how u' doin'?". Goddamit, that was awkward. Rusev, please don't crush me. Crush the Creative team.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE - NOVEMBER 22, 2016

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Tag Team Turmoil

Great in-ring action. American Alpha on top is also very smart, considering they were the first NXT draft picks from SmackDown Live, and considered "the best tag team in NXT". I just hate to see The Ascension being wasted every week. I see great potential in them. Give them a NXT run, and they'll prove that to you. Boy oh boy, do I miss The Ascension being NXT Tag Team Champs.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Dean Ambrose

I know, I know. James Ellsworth was the one to beat the WWE World Champion in a Ladder match on the main event of SmackDown Live, but think with me: who made you laugh in those backstage segments? Who gave Shane McMahon a headache? Who came down to the ring, acting like he didn't help RAW almost get the win at Survivor Series? And most importantly, who risked his job and did the dirty job so that Ellsworth could indeed get his long-wished SmackDown Live contract? Ambrose is ridiculously funny. Is this the best Dean Ambrose we can see on WWE? By a thousand miles, the answer is no. But can he be super entertaining, and at the same time act like a man on a mission, determined and be super serious? Yes, he can. Either funny promos or intense promos. That man can do it all.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Kalisto attempting to copy Kane's facial expressions

Most of you didn't notice, and maybe this is me dreaming. But do you remember Masked Kane returning in 2011 and chokeslamming John Cena on the Slammy Awards edition of RAW? Remember him showing his mask at the end? (If not, see this video and go to 2:29) See how Kalisto looks down at Baron Corbin and does the same thing Kane did in 2011. Kane is an inspiration to everybody, even a lucha libre competitor.

And this wraps up this week's Da' Hell Happened. Hope you laughed your ass off with this edition, because THAT'S WHAT I DO! Next week we'll be back with more "best friends" actions, as well as more developments (even more than this week's 5 matches determined for TLC) on the next SmackDown Live exclusive PPV. See you then!
