Hey everyone! Welcome to another edition of "Da' Hell Happened" showing to you the best and the worse from this week's WWE flagship shows, RAW and SmackDown Live, highlighted by a high quality Falls Count Anywhere RAW Women's Championship match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte, and the last episode of SmackDown Live before Sunday's PPV TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs. So let's roll!
WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - NOVEMBER 28, 2016
MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Falls Count Anywhere match - Charlotte (C) vs. Sasha Banks for the RAW Women's Championship
Personally, I feel like the RAW Women's division is based simply on Charlotte and Sasha Banks, and no one else, and I also understand a lot of people are tired of seeing Banks and Charlotte be the only people around the title picture. But there's one thing we can't deny: these two have chemistry and work perfectly together inside the ring. This time, it was no exception. That moonsault off the commentary table by Charlotte. That Banks Statement on that rail. It was brutal, it was vicious, and it was beautiful.
MVP OF THE NIGHT: Sasha Banks and Charlotte
Without a doubt. They have produced the best match of the card, and they delivered once again on the main event, proving for males it's going to be tough going forward. I just hope this was the end of their feud. It doesn't look like, but I hope, because it's not going to favor them if it goes on because it has become too repetitive. Maybe I'm dreaming too much when thinking about Banks and Bayley feuding, with Banks as the heel. I want to see that at WrestleMania.
EXTRA: Interesting statistics about the Banks/Charlotte feud:
- Sasha Banks won her first WWE Women's Championship on July 25th. 4 months later, she's now (November 28) a 3-time Women's Champion;
- Since the creation of the new Women's Championship, the original title has been held by two people on 6 different occasions. Those people were Sasha Banks and Charlotte;
- Sasha's 3 Women's Title victories all happened on RAW, while Charlotte's happened during PPV's;
- Besides Charlotte and Sasha, the last person to challenge the champion in a one-on-one situation was Paige.
DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: 3min30sec submission
I had to go back and count the time that submission was on. In the middle of the match between WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns, the "Prizefighter" applied a sleeper on the "Big Dog". That submission lasted more than 3 minutes. Holy cow! I don't think I've ever seen any submission last that long.
There are so many different tag teams on SmackDown Live, it's hard to imagine so many of them are not established. Unfortunately, the list of those tag teams include American Alpha, and that's why, even though I love to see Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt going after the Tag Titles (if Wyatt wins, it will be his first WWE gold), I would prefer to see American Alpha going to TLC and facing the champions. But it's still great to see things going this way, and this match killed it Tuesday on SmackDown Live.
MVP OF THE NIGHT: AJ Styles
AJ Styles killed James Ellsworth. Like Mauro Ranallo said, "That was the mother of all Styles Clash". What a Styles Clash from the top of the steel steps! Just watch the video below (if you haven't seen it already). Besides that, Styles was determined, looked like a top superstar, and a threat to Dean Ambrose for their clash at TLC Sunday in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Carmella's comment on Nikki Bella
Whenever anyone mentions something about Nikki Bella's boobs or her relationship with John Cena, the WWE Universe (especially the IWC) goes nuts. Carmella' comments about Nikki's boobs were agressive, but she obviously made them under the PG restrictions. The majority of the IWC is male, and they love big boobs (...we...do.......), so it's normal.
Well, it's time to wrap up this week's Da' Hell Happened. We'll be back next week with the fallout of SmackDown Live's exclusive PPV, TLC, as well as more developments as we head into RAW's exclusive PPV, Roadblock: End of the Line, headlined by a Champion vs Champion match between WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns. See you next Wednesday!
