DA' HELL HAPPENED #8: WWE Monday Night RAW, July 4th, 2016

Welcome to another edition of the Da' Hell Happened. This week, RAW celebrated the Independence Day in America, the 4th of July.

In the beginning, a massive party took place backstage, a so-called World's Largest Food Fight (yes the world's largest one) ending in everyone throwing cake to each other, and Heath Slater being chokeslammed through a table by Big Show and Kane.

Lilian Garcia performed the American national anthem to a raucous crowd in Columbus, Ohio. Immediately after it, WWE United States Champion Rusev made his entrance to the ring. It was time for the United States Championship match on RAW on Independence Day.

WWE United States Champion Rusev Vs. Titus O'Neil - WWE United States Championship Match
Rusev retained the title against Titus O'Neil following the "Accolade". It felt a bit rushed, given the fact that Titus' victory was so hyped because it was Independence Day, and Rusev defeated Titus just like that.

Enzo & Big Cass Vs. Social Outcasts
Social Outcasts came out dressed as classic management. Enzo & Big Cass interrupted them, as Enzo gave a lesson to every present on the names of every president in USA history. In a match, Enzo & Big Cass took the victory after "Air Enzo".

WWE Women's Champion Charlotte and Dana Brooke made a promo about how Sasha Banks is only hype and nothing more. "The Boss" interrupted the champion. She talked about the fact that she never really beat Banks one on one. Charlotte backfired with a strong argument that it was almost a year both debuted on RAW, and most of that time Charlotte was the champ. She then questioned what is a boss, and Banks explained her that a boss is more than just a simple superstar, a boss is someone that wants gold, and she is coming for Charlotte's title. Banks was then attacked by Dana and Charlotte, only to answer with a Bank Statement. This feud is on. Will Banks win the title for the first time? When?

WWE Champion Dean Ambrose Vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz
Time for a champion vs. champion match. WWE Champion Dean Ambrose battled WWE Intercontintal Champion The Miz in a second round, after their clash last Thursday on SmackDown. The WWE Champion defeated the Intercontinental Champion after "Dirty Deeds". During the match, JBL almost "buried" Ambrose by saying he is no role model, kids hide themselves because they fear him, and his face can't be featured in billboards and talk shows. Anyway, after the match, Seth Rollins came out for his one and both superstars had a quick verbal clash on top of the stage. Rollins then entered the ring and Ambrose runned back to the ring only to exit the other way and end up in the announce table, grabbing headphones from the Spanish announce table.

Dolph Ziggler Vs. Seth Rollins
After the commercial break, Ambrose talked a bit Spanish to the Spanish announers, saying he will do a pinfall and retain the title at Battleground. "Uno, dós, trés". That was what happened to Dolph Ziggler. Rollins picked up the victory with a "Pedigree". What a great match.
WWE announces the man who will face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam will be revealed this Thursday on SmackDown. I don't know if that is a good idea, because by the end of tomorrow, people will already know it. Spoilers kill shows, but sadly it's a truth and it can't go away.
After the match, Rollins grabbed a mic and, on top of the announce tables, talked about how Roman Reigns should be erased from the Triple Threat match (everyone cheered for everything bad Rollins said about him). Ambrose then climbed the table, said Rollins could have the title back, and threw the title at him only to attack "The Architect" and deliver to him some "Dirty Deeds".

EXCUSE MEEEE! She said Excuse Meeeeeeee. Yes, former SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero returned to RAW to address the Brand Extension, submitting her name to be the next SmackDown General Manager. She was then escorted to the outside by security. In one of the weirdest seconds in the history of RAW, JBL grabbed a microphone, and simply said "Ladies and Gentleman, Vickie Guerrero!", as the crowd chanted "JBL!" "JBL!". What?

Golden Truth Vs. The Vaudevillains
After their confrontation was the origin of the largest food fight in the world earlier on, Golden Truth faced The Vaudevillains, with Breezango on the outside. Golden Truth quickly defeated Vaudevillains. And you read it good: quickly defeated. The Vaudevillains deserve more than this, come on.

John Cena addressed The Club. He said AJ Styles failed to stand in his own two feet, as he stood with Anderson and Gallows. Cena said he was ready for a fight. The Club came out, bragging about coming back to Japan and seeing Cena in the posters, while it was their heroic comeback. Styles went on to say no one helps Cena anymore, and the only ones the roster relates to is The Club. They added nothing is better than beating up John Cena (fun fact: Anderson has a hot Asian wife). They proceeded to get in the ring to beat up John Cena. The help? Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. They cleaned house. Is The Club "SAWFT"? WWE would later announce that John Cena, Enzo and Big Cass will team up to face The Club at Battleground on July 24th.

Becky Lynch Vs. Summer Rae
Next is the match that was supposed to have taken place last week. Becky Lynch Vs. Summer Rae. Becky was victorious after a Disarmer.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day came out. After their typical great promo, The Wyatt Family interrupted them on the tron, inviting them for their "house". Big E. and Kofi accepted it, and Xavier had enough. He told his New Day compatriots that Bray and his family are dangerous, and if they don't see the threat, then their team might not be able to survive anymore. It's interesting, because I don't see them splitting, but this is what really looks like. I'm interested in this.

Team USA Vs. Multi-National Alliance in a Elimination Match
Americanism at its best. Team USA has 2 heels and 6 faces, the other team has 4 faces and 4 heels. More conflict in the alliance than in Team USA. So Americans seem more powerful. Ah man. Anyway, here are the results:
Sin Cara eliminated by Bubba; Bubba eliminated by Kalisto; Devon eliminated by Cesaro; Jack Swagger eliminated by Chris Jericho; Kalisto eliminated by Mark Henry; Mark Henry eliminated by Kevin Owens (surreal, following a Pop-Up Powerbomb); Kevin Owens eliminated by DQ (steel chair attack); Kane eliminated by DQ (steel chair attack); Sami Zayn eliminated by Apollo Crews; Apollo Crews eliminated by Sheamus; Cesaro eliminated by Zack Ryder; Chris Jericho eliminated by Big Show; Alberto Del Rio eliminated by Big Show; Sheamus eliminated by Zack Ryder.
Team USA won the match. Happy Independence Day America. And good night.
