DA' HELL HAPPENED #32: WWE Monday Night RAW & WWE SmackDown Live, February 20/21 2017

Hey everyone! Welcome to this week's edition of "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the review of this week's WWE flagship shows, RAW and SmackDown Live. This week's shows featured a massive close to 800 pounds main event, the relinquish of a championship (and the crowning of a new champion) and a Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Title at WrestleMania. Let's go.

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - FEBRUARY 20, 2017

MATCH OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTIONS): Big Show vs. Braun Strowman

Although I'm not a big fan of only having big guys have titles or be successful in the WWE, I do not refuse watching two big guys fighting in the middle of the ring. And these guys delivered. Like Michael Cole said, Braun Strowman is not only a big guy, but an absolute tremendous athlete, and he showed that in his match this week against Big Show. Also Show showed he still has, and proves why he is a legend in this business.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair

No matter how many matches they have, they click and produce an amazing match. WWE gave us Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks on a Monday on RAW, and what did they do? Deliver. And better than that? Even though it is very likely that Bayley will drop the title to Charlotte at Fastlane, they delivered while leaving others thrive with the title. MOTN, without a doubt.

MVP OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTIONS): Kevin Owens

Even though this whole story with Chris Jericho was amazing and very entertaining to watch, it took WWE more than a year to understand how to book Kevin Owens properly. Unfortunately that comes only for him to drop the WWE Universal Championship to Goldberg at Fastlane. However, the Kevin Owens shown this week is the best Kevin Owens possible. He wreaks people, he is not afraid of facing them and does not hide behind anyone. There's only one word to describe this, and it is not SAWFT, it is finally.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Braun Strowman

We most of the times brag about how WWE books their superstars, and I know this one comes with no surprise because he is a monster and a big man. But this is how every superstar should be booked, and WWE is booking Braun Strowman the best way possible. He beat Big Show in a thrilling main event (people chanting "This is awesome" proves that), and then went on to decimate Roman Reigns while "The Big Dog" attempted to silence the "Monster Among Men". Praise to WWE for booking this guy.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: People chanting "Thank you Sheamus" after hitting a "Brogue Kick" to Enzo Amore

Guys, what the hell? It's been said for months that Enzo Amore is one of the best, if not the best talker in WWE. Very entertaining, very funny. Basically everyone said that. And now that he and his partner Big Cass are chasing Tag Team gold in two weeks at Fastlane, you turn on them by chanting "Thank you Sheamus" after "The Celtic Warrior" brogue-kicked Amore when he was talking trash about Cesaro? You hit low, IWC, and you're very irritating, for real.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE - FEBRUARY 21, 2017

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: 10-Man Battle Royal

Unconclusive, full of set-ups for WrestleMania matches, drama and intensity defined this 10-man Battle Royal match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. AJ Styles is by far the most popular guy in the roster after John Cena, and Luke Harper is the rising star. Next week, we get a #1 contender. If we don't already have one from the Royal Rumble...

MVP OF THE NIGHT: AJ Styles and Luke Harper

No definitive MVP of the Night because both guys made their impact and made clear they want deserve a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania. The unconclusive Battle Royal created drama, and people demand a conclusion after Harper and Styles hit the floor at the same time, but everyone will agree when I say anyone from these two could be the #1 contender.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Naomi relinquishes the SmackDown Women's Title

By reading the title, you will probably think I find it stupid that Naomi relinquishes the title. But no, that's not what I'm trying to say. What I'm trying to say is that it is incredibly irritating to see a woman who's worked so hard to get to the top of the women's division, that when she gets there, she is forced to leave it due to injury. I know she'll be back better than ever, and I hope when she comes back, she goes after the title again. I wish you a speedy recovery, Naomi.

And with this I wrap up this week's Da' Hell Happened. Next week will be the final week before WWE Fastlane, and more developments will be made on SmackDown Live with the #1 contender's match between Harper and Styles, and the continuation on the Road to WrestleMania. See you there.
