DA' HELL HAPPENED #40: WWE Monday Night RAW - April 3, 2017

Hey everyone and welcome to another edition of "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the review of last night's RAW, also a special one because it was the RAW after WrestleMania.

NOTE: From now on, RAW and SmackDown Live will be reviewed on Da' Hell Happened in two different editions: on Tuesday with RAW and on Wednesday with SmackDown Live.

RESULTS:
Roman Reigns gets more than 10 minutes of boo's
The Hardy Boyz (c) def. Anderson & Gallows to retain the RAW Tag Team Championships
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville def. Mustafa Ali
Mr. McMahon names Kurt Angle the new General Manager of Monday Night RAW
The Revival def. The New Day in their main roster/RAW debut
RAW Women's Champion Bayley, Sasha Banks & Dana Brooke def. Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax & Emma
Braun Strowman confronted Universal Champion Brock Lesnar
Cesaro & Sheamus def. Enzo Amore & Big Cass to become the new #1 Contenders to the RAW Tag Team Championships
Sami Zayn def. Jinder Mahal
Finn Bálor & Seth Rollins def. United States Champion Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe

Braun Strowman confronted Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTIONS):

The Revival vs. The New Day - Yes, they are finally here. The Revival have made their main roster/RAW debut by defeating the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time, The New Day. The reception from the WWE Universe on such a raucous crowd and such a special edition of RAW was expectable, but still amazing.

Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass -
Is the team of Cesaro and Sheamus over again? The crowd was amazing, and the team is going for the Hardys titles.

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder (The Revival) made their main roster/RAW debut last night against The New Day.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Finn Bálor & Seth Rollins vs. US Champion Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe

If you follow DHH, it's no surprise I am the biggest Finn Bálor fan of them all, and seeing him back made me so happy. Also, here's some curiosities about the power star involved in this tag team match:

- Finn Bálor was the first ever Universal Champion of all time, while Kevin Owens was the second;
- Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor at SummerSlam was the first ever Universal Championship match, which saw Seth Rollins injure Finn Bálor and force him to relinquish the title the following night;
- All four superstars are former NXT Champions: Seth Rollins was the first ever NXT Champion, while Kevin Owens lost the title to Finn Bálor at Beast in the East, and Samoa Joe was the first ever 2-time NXT Champion, the first reign starting after he defeated Finn Bálor.

As you can imagine, there was a lot of star power in this match, and it was very special to see these four men go at it in the main event of RAW. Moving forward, things will become very interesting, to say the least.

US Champion Kevin Owens takes a dropkick from Finn Bálor.

MVP OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTIONS):

Roman Reigns - To endure more than 10 minutes of boo's, and have a single line promo makes you realize he is the top guy in the business right now. There's only one thing I'm looking forward to seeing: will they turn him heel or continue having these heel tactics fade behind the mask of a babyface?

Braun Strowman - Oh boy. Braun Strowman looked awesome confronting the Universal Champion. Along with Roman Reigns, those two are the top contenders to the title, and can easily (and logically) confront The Beast.

Roman Reigns withstood more than 10 minutes of boo's to start Monday Night RAW.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Finn Bálor

A triumphant return last night for Finn Bálor as he teamed with the man that injured him at SummerSlam, Seth Rollins. A United States Championship run for Bálor seems fit, but only time will tell what WWE has in store for the man behind "The Demon".

Finn Bálor returned last night and pinned the United States Champion.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: No weird moments this week

And with this I wrap up Tuesday's edition of DHH. Tomorrow I'll be back for the review of tonight's SmackDown Live, the first after WrestleMania. Also next week there will be a SHAKE-UP on the roster of RAW and SmackDown Live, which will be very interesting to see. Until next time, make weird moments.
