DA' HELL HAPPENED #44: WWE Monday Night RAW - April 17, 2017

Hey everyone and welcome to yet another edition of "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the review of this week's RAW. This week's show had three major absences in the form of The Revival, Roman Reigns and the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, but was highlighted by a very physical match-up between the two monsters, Braun Strowman and Big Show. So let's go!

RAW Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy def. Cesaro
Big Show vs. Braun Strowman ended in no contest after the ring collapsed

MATCH OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTIONS):

Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks vs. Mickie James vs. Nia Jax: The women of RAW displayed their talents on the Monday show, facing each other in a Fatal Four Way to determine the new #1 contender for Bayley's RAW Women's Championship. An amazing match that showed two fresh faces to the show and a new top woman in Bliss.

Jeff Hardy vs. Cesaro: A dream match for many wrestling fans happened in front of our eyes, on live cable TV, on Monday Night RAW. Jeff Hardy and Cesaro are two of the most beloved superstars of all time, and they had a great match on RAW last night.

RAW Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy faced one half of the #1 contenders for the RAW Tag Team Titles, Cesaro, in a dream match.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Braun Strowman vs. Big Show

Braun Strowman and Big Show main evented Monday Night RAW this week, and boy oh boy was this as physical as they come! The ring collapsed at the end of the match, after Braun superplexed Show from the top rope! The ring only collapsed two times before, and they all featured Big Show. In the end, Strowman got up and got the best of the segment, looking like the strongest superstar on RAW today.

After a superplex from Braun Strowman to Big Show from the top rope, the ring collapsed. Even the referee was tossed out of the ring.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Braun Strowman

After collapsing the ring by superplexing Big Show on the mat, Braun Strowman looked like the strongest superstar in the entire WWE roster today. A very physical display from the man who destroyed Roman Reigns last week on RAW. Strowman is now a very logical contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship, and WWE should capitalize on his momentum.

Braun Strowman looked strong and on top of RAW after the show.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Dead crowd

When Finn Bálor answered Curt Hawkins' challenge, I wanted to be in that arena to ask the crowd if they were alive. No reaction at all except for people from Ohio and Braun Strowman saying he destroyed Roman Reigns last week. Dead crowds kill shows.

Finn Bálor wasn't expected to be on RAW after suffering a concussion last week during his match with Jinder Mahal, but he came and made quick work of Curt Hawkins.

And with this I wrap up the first DHH of this week. Tomorrow I will be back for the review of SmackDown LIVE from tonight. See you there!
