DA' HELL HAPPENED #16 - WWE Monday Night RAW & WWE SmackDown Live; October 3/4 2016

Hey everyone! Welcome to another edition of "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the review of this week's RAW and SmackDown Live. A blockbuster main event on RAW and the development of storylines heading into Sunday's No Mercy on SmackDown Live are the highlights of this week's WWE content. So let's see!

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - OCTOBER 3, 2016

HONORABLE MENTIONS (MATCH OF THE NIGHT): The New Day vs. Jeri-KO

Entertaining, funny and well executed. Seth Rollins' presence was a positive point to create more attention and distractions. It wasn't Match Of The Night because it was not as impactful and was not positioned as a very important match as the next one.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks - WWE RAW Women's Championship Match

History was made. For the first time in over 12 years, women main evented RAW. And in incredible fashion! And boy oh boy, did they deliver! Charlotte put everything on the line, risking her body with top rope moves: that Diving Corkscrew Moonsault was incredible! And Sasha Banks was smart and countered every strategy the champion had to retain the title. In the end, Banks became a 2-time WWE Women's Champ, beating Charlotte again on RAW for the title.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Sasha Banks/Charlotte

I can't really tell you which one of these women is the real MVP of the Night. Charlotte put on one of the best performances of her career, and Sasha's title win cemented her as the top woman in WWE. Decide for yourselves.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: "Harambe 3:16" Sign

I mean, what da' hell?

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE - OCTOBER 4, 2016

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Alexa Bliss & Carmella vs. Becky Lynch & Nikki Bella

For the first time in "Da' Hell Happened" history, both matches of the night on RAW and SmackDown Live were made by women. Congratulations girls, you are killing it! SmackDown Live saw Alexa Bliss pin the SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch, after Nikki Bella rushed after Carmella to attack her. Great action and great stuff here.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler has the stacks against him. On Sunday, he faces the Intercontinental Champion The Miz, and if he loses that match, his career is over. The Miz did everything he could to enter the Show-Off's mind, attempting to make a "tribute" to Dolph's career. That included the Dolphumentary and the return of the Spirit Squad. Even with all the emotions running high, Ziggler was on fire, and kept coming back after being attacked by his own friends from SS, and then by The Miz. It will be a big loss to WWE's world if Ziggler loses this Sunday.

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Was Corbin tapping out or trying to reach the rope?

Great way to protect both competitors, but it's a controversial call by the referee. The ref thought Corbin was tapping out, Corbin said he was trying to reach the ropes. I saw that too. Confusing, controversial, another match between these two is coming.

UPDATE: Daniel Bryan made the match official. Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin SUNDAY at No Mercy!

And with this we wrap up this week's "Da' Hell Happened" edition. Next Monday will be the debut of "Da' Hell Happened - YouTube Edition", featuring the review of Sunday's WWE No Mercy! See you there!
