DA' HELL HAPPENED #27: WWE Roadblock - End Of The Line

An historical night in many ways. "WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line" is in the history books. Welcome to another edition of "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the review of last night's PPV. The show was highlighted by the end of an historical title reign, a Iron Man match and the reunion of a brotherhood.

- (4/5*) Cesaro & Sheamus def. The New Day (C) to win the RAW Tag Team Championships
- (2.5/5*) Sami Zayn survived 10 minutes with Braun Strowman

- (3.5/5*) Rich Swann (C) def. The Brian Kendrick and TJ Perkins in a Triple Threat match to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
- (4/5*) Charlotte Flair def. Sasha Banks in a 30-minute Ironman match to win the RAW Women's Championship
- (3.75/5*) - Kevin Owens (C) def. Roman Reigns by disqualification to retain the WWE Universal Championship

MATCH OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTION): Kevin Owens (C) vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship

It's been said before, and I will say it again. WWE has shown a pair never seen before that has great chemistry, and that is Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns. Every time these two wrestle, they produce magic. It was a great quality main event match, one that did not disappoint. The ending gives WWE endless possibilities in terms of future booking for Owens, Reigns, Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho, and the Shield reunion gives another excitement to this storyline.

Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns by disqualification after Chris Jericho applied a "Code Breaker" on Kevin Owens.
MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Sasha Banks (C) vs. Charlotte Flair in a 30-minute Ironman Match for the RAW Women's Championship

I'm one of the biggest critics of this storyline, and I'm not giving positive critics at all. We've seen this storyline play a repetitive way, with Sasha winning the title on RAW and then Charlotte winning it back on a PPV, and Charlotte leaving Roadblock as champion is a repetition of that same way.

One thing is for sure: if WWE didn't know what to do in the future with the RAW Women's division, in terms of booking, the moment they decided Charlotte would be the new champion, then they have a huge challenge in front of them to not screw it all. The ending of the match definitely seemed like the end of the feud between Banks and Charlotte, with the sudden death decision by the referee and Sasha leaving the match bleeding and bruised.

There's lots of questions that need to be answered this Monday on RAW. Was this the real end for this storyline? Who's the next challenger? What's next for Sasha Banks? Between Bayley, Nia Jax, Dana Brooke, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, who will step up? Either WWE will screw up big, or the RAW Women's division will become one of the most interesting and fresh things to watch on a weekly basis.

Sasha Banks defended her RAW Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair in a 30-minute Ironman match, only the second involving women superstar in WWE history.
MVP OF THE NIGHT (HONORABLE MENTIONS): Cesaro & Sheamus, Neville, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Sasha Banks

Cesaro & Sheamus defeated The New Day, thus winning the RAW Tag Team Championships and ending New Day's historical 488-day title reign. Neville returned and put the Cruiserweight division on notice, making his presence felt by presenting a very different attitude by attacking Rich Swann and TJ Perkins very agressively. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins ended the show by attacking Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens, putting each of them through a commentary table the old Shield style. Sasha Banks was one half of the match of the night, producing a great quality wrestling match with Charlotte Flair. She's not the MVP of the Night because she didn't win the match nor was the best participant in that Ironman match.

Neville returned and attacked WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann and TJ Perkins, putting the division on notice.
MVP OF THE NIGHT: Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair is, without a doubt, "the greatest female athlete in the WWE" and one of the best, if not the best, of all time. A 4-time Women's Champion, one of the most dominant woman in the history of the company, and also in the possess of a 15-0 streak in singles competition in WWE PPV's. She's 18-2 in all-time matches in PPV's, better than Undertaker and Hulk Hogan, and with this victory becomes the top woman in the roster. Before this match, I would tell you the top of the women's division on RAW belonged to Sasha Banks and Charlotte, but right now that top belongs to only one, and that is "The Queen".

Charlotte Flair defeated Sasha Banks to become a 4-time Women's Champion.
DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: How is Rusev, Lana, Big Cass and Enzo Amore on the Kickoff show?

It just doesn't feel right to watch Big Cass with Enzo Amore face Rusev with Lana on the kickoff show. Did this storyline fall real hard? If true, than it's time to move on.
