DA' HELL HAPPENED #59: WWE SmackDown LIVE - June 6th, 2017

How's it going everyone? Welcome to another edition of the "Da' Hell Happened" featuring the review of this week's SmackDown LIVE. The blue brand's show was highlighted by the debut of Lana, a SmackDown Women's Championship match set for Money In The Bank, the in-ring return of the WWE Champion since Backlash and a "Lone Wolf" standing tall. So let's roll!

RESULTS:

Carmella, Natalya & Tamina def. SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi, Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch
AJ Styles def. Dolph Ziggler
WWE Champion Jinder Mahal def. Mojo Rawley
The New Day def. The Colons
Shinsuke Nakamura def. United States Champion Kevin Owens

Lana arrives on SmackDown LIVE.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: United States Champion Kevin Owens vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

An absolute first in the WWE. It was a dream match many thought they would have never seen it in the WWE, and they did. It wasn't an awesome match, and for me it didn't live up to my expectations (when you see the match they had at ROH, you know what I'm talking about), but still it was the best wrestling produced Tuesday night on SmackDown LIVE.

I'm hoping they capitalize on Nakamura's three consecutive pinfall victories over the United States Champion to give them something to work on a PPV, and not on a weekly SmackDown LIVE. And don't forget that AJ Styles is still in the background, waiting for his rightfully rematch for the United States Championship. A Triple Threat between these three would be money for the company.

Shinsuke Nakamura hits a kick to the side of the face on Kevin Owens.

MVP OF THE NIGHT: Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin

It's a double-MVP this week on SmackDown LIVE. Between Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin, I can't name one to be the MVP of the Night because both made impacts their own way.

On the one hand, Nakamura got a third pinfall victory over the United States Champion Kevin Owens in the main event, picking up a lot of momentum heading to Money In The Bank. On the other hand, Baron Corbin laid waste not only to Sami Zayn, but to Nakamura himself, even though it was a sneak attack after the "Artist" had beaten Owens.

WWE is becoming known now for making various men and unpredictable matches. The Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match was completely unpredictable, with fans seemingly not being able to make up their minds and really have a lock as to who could be the winner (fans could only have a clue as to who was going to win through bets), and now the Money In The Bank Ladder match. Nakamura can win it, Owens can win it, Corbin can win it, Ziggler can win it, Styles can win it, Zayn can win it. It's so unpredictable, and that's what I like about it. Unpredictability is something WWE needs to fight social media and leaks inside the product.

Baron Corbin attacked Nakamura after his match, hitting him with a "End of Days".

DA' HELL HAPPENED MOMENT OF THE SHOW: It's tea time!

These two are absolute money together. I love it! It's tea time, ladies and gentleman! Charlotte and Becky got no time for drama.

And with this I finish this week's final edition of "Da' Hell Happened". Next week I'll be back for more RAW and SmackDown LIVE, as both brands prepare for their respective PPV's, Great Balls Of Fire and Money In The Bank. See you there!
